Deborah Andersen

Deborah Andersen, founding member:

Ms. Andersen received her B.F.A. in Dance from the University of Iowa in 2003. While at Iowa, she received many awards, including the Jeanette Rutledge Award and three annual Dance Department scholarships, and graduated with Honors Recognition in Dance as well as a B.A. in Psychology. She had the honor of performing "Diplomacy," choreographed by Daniel Stark, at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. as a part of the American College Dance Festival Association's Biannual National Festival in 2004.

After graduation, Ms. Andersen traveled internationally, during which time, she earned her Certificate in Yoga Education from Yoga Vidya Dham in Nasik, India. She moved from her home state of Iowa to San Antonio to perform with the Saint Lorraine Dance Company. Ms. Andersen teaches yoga and Pilates at Mind, Body & Soul in Alamo Heights.
